Worth paying extra for custom closet organizers?
Moving into a new build soon and the closets are pretty basic. Thinking about adding custom shelving, drawers, etc. Is it actually worth the extra cost over IKEA/Pax systems, or are those good enough these days? Looking for opinions from people in Ontario who’ve done both.

If the space is awkward or you want specific features (pull-outs for shoes, tie racks, etc.), custom makes a huge difference in daily use. IKEA works fine for simple needs but often feels temporary after a couple years. We used Alliance Millwork for our main bedroom closets last year — they designed around our weird angles and added exactly what we needed. Materials feel solid and everything glides smoothly.
